Yellow color as default in dimension, notes, welding symbols etc etc is not useful when using color printers
I new the way to change colors in the AM standard box , but in R13 it does not work properly.
I can place a lot of measure in yellow, and then go to tools - options- AM-dimension and modify to i.e 140 and all yellow measuring change once.
But if I then continuing with new measuring it is still yellow . This dos not happens in R12.
What i really want is to change all yellow default txt color to a new deafult color i.e blue 140.
Is there an easy way to do this changing ?
I tried to add a dwg- attachement but impossible
Can you try to change the color from Standard Settings for standard dialog invoked from standard node in AMtandards tab of Options dialog? See attached snapshot
Thanks for the reply.
Yes this is the way I normally have used in former release up till R12,
and the new color info is keept in the drawing after closed and reopened, different as in R13
In my new R13 installed late 2012, this functions don't work properly at all.
Try To explain:
If I start measuring a drawing in yellow and want to change , I can use the tools, option, AM-standard,
modify, apply, ok. etc. to choose new color and all yellow measuring text change in the drawing,
but when I cotinuing measuring in same drawing I still has yellow text.
If I do it another way:
I first change the color settings and then start measuring, it does not affect at all and I still have only yellow text, and
it is not possible to change.
As you underrstand, I am looking for a way to set a new text color permanent as default.
Is it possible ?
Could you follow Michael's suggestion and follow the steps :
1, open the standard settings for ISO. (use ISO as an example),
2, click Restore default button at the bottom of the dialog box,
3, change the text color and apply and ok button.
Wish this could solve your issue.
In addition to change color - apply and ok I had to tick for " Foprce power dimensions to use this dimension style"
to keep the color info stored as default.
For welding symbols I could not find a solution to cgange from yellow to other color.
Is there any ?
