ribbon does not have taps or panels loaded

I have been using my autocad 2009 for years. today I called up autocad and when it appeared, the top read "ribbon does not have any tabs or panels loaded" There is no access to method of reloading the ribbon since the autocad logo when clicked on will avail me to a remedy ???
