SAME install on each new PC?

I have to roll out 14 new PC's each containing LT2002.
I have set up one PC the way I want it. Is there any way that I can "lift" the LT settings from this PC and simply "plonk" them onto the other PC's without me having to go through the whole set up process again on each PC?
Please? Hope there is!!

Thanks Terry Fay

If you meen the "profile" then you can use regedit
and export this key to a reg file:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD
LT\R8\ACLT-1:409

and then import it on all other PC's.

For install you can also make an install
image using NETSETUP.EXE and install everything
silently.

Wrap up everying within a CMD or VBS
file.

Take
a look at the trial version of SmartPurger (now for AutoCAD 2004) or

Jimmy,
Thanks. Will have a look at what you suggest.
Using Ghost software we created an image of the PC settings and transferred this to the new PC's. I was hoping to do something similar with the LT install.
Thanks Terry Fay

You are welcome!

I don't know if Ghost will work well with AutoCAD
LT, others might have experience. Otherwise it's easy to create an image with
NETSETUP.EXE that is on the CD.

You might also post in the Network Newsgroup to get
more answers on this subject.

I have to warn people. We've tried to duplicate the install with Ghost for the same reason, but it resulted in severe Windows (W2K) failures, as the PC wouldn't start up anymore!. Copying the regkey however, does the trick very well.

You have to use Sysprep before ghosting the WIN2k image.
