Architecture 2011 Tool Palette - Design

We have jutst moved from Architecture 2009 to 2011. In 2009 when the user first starts the program, Tool Palette - Design appears on the left with options to add walls, doors, windows, openings etc. In 2011 It doesn't appear on startup. Is there an option somewhere that I need to tick on or some extra update I need to load. Am in the UK if that makes a difference.

BIG change in 11.  In 09 the Rabbin was half baked for ACA.  In 11 it's fully(sic) added and the previous menu's were removed.  Search here - you can add them back but it's a litttle fiddling.

Also search here for David's in depth artciles on th Robbin a couple of posts back.

The palettes are all still accessible using the CTRL+ commands assigned since 2006(?). The Tool Palette toggle is CTRL+3. Once you have your layout setup when you close ACA the default behavior is to save the layout. This is accessed in the Workspace (WSSETTINGS) dialog via a radio button. if it is set to "Automatically save workspace changes" you should be able to shut down ACA and reopen with the last settings applied.

AutoCAD Architecture 2011 - Does anyone know do you get the tool palette to update to include "walls, slabs, columns, roofs " etc?

I had to reset my version so that I could view the "classic workspace" (which was absent) ... I could then load tool bars but my palette changed to what looks like a very old version of palette???
