Hey guys, we are looking at purchasing an Autocad 2013 licence, but need to run Autocad 2011 so it is compatible with a 3rd party drafting tool.
Is it a simple process to purchase the licence and then download the 2011 installer? Is there anything else one would need to know beforehand?

Thanks for the info Dean. I will be discussing this with a reseller, but its nice to know this information in advance. Most software companies have different policies and procedures which makes it hard to keep up with.
Autodesk only has the latest release of AutoCAD available for download. To get an older release you would have to contact them and request the 2011 media.
If you are on subscription, you can download all versions to which you are entitled.
