I'm looking for an add-in or program that will take a collection of lines/arcs and whatever and from them create their isometric view in either top, right or left view. Additionally, if it can generate isometric looking dimensions in any of those views, that would be a big plus.
We use extrusions in our wall panels and window systems and have to create isometrics for installation instructions. We can generate the iso manually but, sheesh, what a hassle.

A built-in way to create isometrics without a program is to switch to paper space, set up a viewport with the isometric view you want and then use chspace. You can copy and paste the results to another model space and them scale them relative back to their real-world sizes. This even copies the dimensions without exploding them. It does modify the dimensions' scale factors but this can be fixed after scaling.
$0 is always attractive to me. I tried this and it certainly provides what i need, but did i read that this would translate dims also, because it does not convert dims.
But i'm happy with this as is.
Hi COJones (hope you're still watching)
This works fine if i run it as a lsp file by dragging it from Windows Explorer into the drawing, but when i try to make a vlx application of it, it does not run (also dragging and dropping) and instead i get the message
"error: bad argument type: streamp nil"
Any reason for this?
