Revision Cloud Macro

I am attempting to write a macro which creates a layer "REVISION" and then a revcloud on that layer. The problem i am having is that the client has specified the layer colour to be WHITE but the cloud colour to be RED. So i have to change the current colour to red then run the revcloud command and then change the color back to bylayer. I want to be able to use the "Guide crosshairs along cloud path..." function but it wont work if i want to change the colour back to bylayer.
^C^C-layer;M;REVISION;C;7;;;-COLOR;1;_REVCLOUD;A;4;;\-COLOR;BYLAYER;
Could someone please help?
thanks

Why aren't you drawing BYLAYER all the time? That is, the layer needs to be RED in the first place.
Or draw a polygon shape around the area to be clouded, then use REVCLOUD's Object option to change it to a cloud shape.

Did you miss this part?

The problem i am having is that the client has specified the layer colour to be WHITE but the cloud colour to be RED.
