I'm a beginner with AutoCAD and doing some homework for school where am supposed to use different xref map layers just to learn. The problem is when I adding an image and place it with align the other layers aren't visible anymore. So when am go to "hatch" and adjust the transpaercy the others layers are visible like I want, but I can't confirm the command. It says; "do you really want to do this?". I push enter but then the transparecy dissapear. Any idea whats wrong? Might it have something to do with layers or anything like that? I tried to make the xref into layers but i'm not sure I succeeded.

Thanks for any help.
