Autocad 2015 system requirements

Hello,

i am wondering about there system requirements for Autocad (and Civil) 2015.

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-...

It only shows Xeon & Pentium 4 - what about Core i5 / i7 ?

Listed there are "minimum" requirements.  Anything "newer" or "better" will be advantageous.

For more info, see:

Xeon/Pentium 4: last decade, minimum system requirements.
Not sure why they don't publish real-world erquirements, but as noted above your choices are better (keep in mind the 3Ghz speed requirement, kind of still applies).

"...why they don't publish real-world erquirements..."

Depends on your definition of "real world", which is relative and subjective.  Autodesk's and yours are probably quite different.  I suspect Autodesk would prefer to keep its pool of potential customers as large as is reasonably possible, while in your case... perhaps not so much? Smiley Wink

Oh yes, it's a marketing ploy for sure, everyone knows it: but they don't fix it under the 'recommended' section which is where it becomes an outright lie!
