Strange error message - "AllocateMemory call malloc failed"

I'm getting the error below regularly. Once it appears there is nothing I can do but kill AutoCAD from the task manager. I don't get any chance to save changes etc. Does anyone know what is causing this error and how to fix it?

If you press OK it just keeps coming back.

TIA

Roy

This problem just start? What changed with your setup?

malloc is the low-level function C++ programs use to allocate dynamic memory. If that fails, you are usually running out of memory.

It may be caused by a bug if a program starts reserving memory needlessly, or it may just be a case of your having too much stuff open at the same time.

So, first start Task Manager and find out which programs are hogging the memory.
