I have a difficult problem involving Excel and AutoCAD

I didn't want to bore anyone with a simple problem.

I have a drawing that has a Excel Table in the drawing. We don't have the original Excel file. Is there a way to extract the Excel table out of the drawing and into a new excel sheet and keep it intact? I listed it. It is OLE, Linked, and is excel 97-2003. Any suggestions?

Linked? Then you have the XL file, double-click on the OLE object to open it.
Otherwise you just have a picture of it in your DWG file, and you know how useful a picture can be when you need the data.

I was hoping I was wrong, but you are right. It is a picture.
