Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

Not sure why this is happening.

Unhandled e0434f4dh

This error is caused by Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 not being installed properly.

You can download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 directly from the Microsoft website:

Best case scenario, the solution of updating dotnet framework 3.5 SP1 to fix this problem is only partially correct given certain conditions. I'm experiencing the same result, but through a different chain of events, and have since I reported it using autocad 2008. Its never been addressed or fixed that I'm aware of. I have just tried reinstalling dotnet framework 3.5 SP1, both repaired and removed-reinstalled, with no real difference.

To recount my particulars, I use a custom VB front end program to generate autolisp scripts, and then run those scripts to make autocad draw my picture. When the script completes, anything I do in that autocad instance will crash it, generating a FATAL ERROR unhandled e0434f4dh exception at 7c812afbh. Fortunately, it only crashes that instance of autocad.

I reported the error for the first year and a half or so, and then was forced to come to the realization that these reports are not being used to repair problems at all, hence the same problems over and over again between autocad versions (You'll see this particular error has roots in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that 2011 has it as well.)

Its only been 3 years now autodissapointment... how bout it?

We're running AutoCAD 2011 and this error started (4 error message pop-ups culminating in a "Error Aborting" finale) today.  What's different about today?

Trusted Desktop started running on our machines.  Apparently it doesn't play well with recent versions of AutoCAD.  Do you have Trusted Desktop loaded on your workstation(s)?
