Has anyone had any success installing Service Packs for AutoCAD / Mechanical in a Windos 7 OS, x64 with AutoCAD running in X32 Mose? I get the attached error when I try to load either.

Is there a work around?

No fix for XPMode: any reason you did not just install in Win7 64bit? it works for almost all users.

Not by choice. That's how IT installed the software.

As far as I know the updates don't work in XPMode and can't be manipulated: but if there is a way I'm sure someone will jump in with an idea.

If it's not too much trouble, consider asking your I.T. to reinstall and update R2008 on your PC in one go for you without using XPMode: the majority of users have no issues with it.
