pathing disappears when change profile

Hi,
Here's a strange problem that only occurs on certain computers. If I set some network paths in Files\Support File Search Path for the Tools|Options configuration setup, they get lost if I switch to a different profile and then back again. I've tried exporting the profile, I still lose my network files. Everything else stays the same.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Options other than network file paths stick around.

You need to save those settings like this:

1) Make your changes
2) Export Profile
3) Import that profile

Otherwise those settings you exported are just in the .arg file and not
saved in the registry when you change profiles.

...or make your changes, exit AutoCAD, then restart AutoCAD.

One thing I forgot to mention. All the computers in question are running Windows 2K, with AutoCAD 2000 from a network install using the license manager.

Tried that. Instead of the different network paths showing up, I get a top level path that is the name of the profile??
Something like this:
Before
c:\program files\acad2000\LISP
N:\projects\shared folder

After
testprofile
c:\program files\acad2000\LISP

Hm, If I remove the profile option from the startup shortcut (/p profilename), then it keeps the same file associations from session to session. Now we'll only have to change the pathing information if someone who doesn't have access to those network files opens CAD.
Oh well, that's the reason we went to profiles in the first place.
