Hello,
Has anyone customized the buttons on their Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer
so that the wheel acts like a wheel (pan and zoom) and one of the other
buttons but not the Pick or Enter, brings up the Pop0 Object Snaps? Can I
do this? I haven't tried yet but I'd like to know what I'm up against...

the MBUTTONPAN variable controls the middle scroll wheel.
Set to 1, will be Pan/Zoom. Set to 0 will bring up the Osnaps.

Is it possible to have mbuttonpan set to 1 and assign one of the other four
buttons to bring up the osnaps?

If the option is there in your mouse software you can set any of the buttons
to "Middle Button". You can do this with a Logitech with a thumb button or
Intellimouse Explorer with a thumb button.

Re:

Scott,

On my Intellimouse I have it set up so the wheel acts as a zoom and when you
press the wheel down it brings up the osnaps. Go into the control panel in
Windows and open up the mouse properties. Make sure that the "Turn on the
wheel Button" option is selected.
In autocad set the system variable "mbuttonpan" to 0. If this doesn't do it
for you I think you have to edit your acad.mnu menu file.
