V-Ray Omni Light

Hello everyone,

I am new to using V-Ray in 3DS Max and I am facing an issue with the lighting.

I created an animation about the phases of the moon using an omni-light, however it is a standard light that does not render in V-Ray.

I read through the forum and documents that there is a "V-Ray omni light" or "point light" but I am unable to find it anywhere, the only V-Ray lights options displayed to me are the following: plane, dome, sphere, mesh, disc, IES, luminaire, ambient light and sun.

Try the V-Ray 'Sphere' light. It's a lit ball that you can scale. You can make it invisible too if that suits your scene.
