spot light shadows

hi dear Autodesk team ......i m faceing problem with creating light shadow useing target spot light 3d max actually  i want to creat shadow light like we can see in clubs i wants make like this shadow with diffrent cloure so i saw i  tutorial youtube he teach me light shadow in  in new file useing defalt vray setting this works and ok but its shadow a but when i open my interior preset my own vray setting traget spot light (atmoshperes) & effect setting change and target spot light shadow is disappear  like this light i wantsis anybody tell me thanx very much
