Hello everyone. I need to reflect light from one object to another. I tried caustic (Vray) but it is not working for me (maybe my fault). Maybe someone know some tutorials or practics how to done with this?Light reflection.png

Can you explain a little more what are you trying to achieve?

By Default, GI should help you with this, also caustics but this will depend on what type of materials are in your scene.

Again if you could screenshot the setup of your scene and settings to have a better understanding of your problem.

I enabled  caustics in GI and it does not work. A try to make light bounce from mirror like object with this material.

Well from your screenshot, if you are using VRay render, you should use VRay materials, any other material will not assure that all VRay features will reflect correctly.

Having said that, I prep a quick scene and everything work as it should, you need to use a direct light or VRay sun to create caustics, if you are using VRay sun be sure to focus the Photon emitting radius to the geometry that will be emitting caustics.

Then just play with the Caustic values, usually, fewer photons will create sharper caustics. They lose shape but they are more visible.

Hope this help.
