Hello!

I'm currently using Vray7 for 3DsMax 2025, I was working on VrayNext therefore, and I must say that a lot of things have changed haha!

I've got a question, when I open my Material Editor, the viewport of my material is a realistic sphere, but as I worked before with a flat circle I would like to change it. Is it possible?

(here is, on the left what I got, and on the right what I would like to have haha)

Moreover, I noticed that subdivisions for the reflection map are not available anymore, is there a solution to change manually and increase or decrease the subdivision of the reflection?

Thanks a lot in advance for your answers!

vray has changed the subdivs strategy many years ago ,  when vray3 it changed to controlled by use local subdivs , and hidden all now , every legacy function are reserved , you can and only can access them by api ,such as use maxscript renderers.current.dmc_useLocalSubdivs=true to enabled the use local subdivs and $.mat.reflection_subdivs=10 to changed vraymtl reflection sundivs
