Bitmap crop tool not working?

Hello all.

I've noted that, at some point, the bitmap cropping interface has stopped functioning as it used to in the Slate material tool.

I used to be able to take a bitmap,  check "apply" under Bitmap Parameters/Cropping/Placement and then hit "View Image" where I could grab the anchor points of a box to manipulate the cropping area.  That is a function that no longer works.  And hasn't for a while. Also, if you manually type in coordinates into the U,V,W or H number boxes, there is no real-time feedback in the "view image" window that opens.  You're forced to close the window and hit "View Image" again to see the changes to the cropping box. This, of course, makes any inputs just guesswork.

I'm using Arnold renderer.

I can confirm the missing real-time feedback when adjusting UVWH values in the Bitmap parameters rollout of the map itself - but adjusting them in the top bar of the "Specify Cropping/Placement" window does provide real-time updates.

Also dragging the crop box in the window works for me and I do get viewport updates when click-drag-releasing the crop box.

Likewise, Arnold RenderView in IPR mode does update on LMB release.. (EDIT: it immediately updates when moving the crop rectangle, but it sometimes takes several seconds to update when resizing it!)

What version of 3ds Max do you use?

Oh wait. Here's the problem- I'm a moron.
Thanks for discovering that. 🙂

Yeah- it works. I simply wasn't bringing the mouse far enough outside the image box for the scale cursor to appear. Thank you!
