3dsmax Arnold AOV Setup

Hey guys am new to arnold and am using the latest build with max 2020. I am trying to save out render elements in 1 exr file but cant seem to do it with 1 render.

Currently if i add AOV's when i hit render, even with super high settings its coming out super noisy.  Also it is not saving the AOV correctly in the file thats being saved.

Really confused on how its supposed to work. Any help would be appreciated!

This set up will put all AOVs in the same EXR file.

Also, here's a short video where I add AOVs to a single file (and make mistakes that would create a second AOV file, which I then delete and fix)

Thanks for that! So I got that down, but how are you outputing the files? Through the common tab? Or are u using the AOV manager?

I click Render in the Render Setup window.

I can use the AOV manager if I want the AOVs for the current frame only.

So you render the final image separately from the AOV file?

Whats happening to me is if I turn the AOV on, and I render in the render setup, its super noisy, if I turn the AOV off then it's renders great. Is that normal?

Make sure you download the latest Arnold build.

There were a bug related to increased noise when having AOVs going, but that is like in the start of the year so rather far back in history. This should be fixed now.
