3ds Max 2016 Physical Camera with VRay

Hi,

I'm having problems with the Physical Camera and VRay.

Default settings for Physical Camera, Exposure Control and VRay sun leaves my whole scene totally blown out.

No amoun tof changing the f-number or shutter speed changes this.

Scene is attached.

It's completely unusable/unpredictable unless I'm missing something utterly obvious!

Cheers,
Paul

Hi again,

I think I've figured this out. It turns out that the exposure control completely overrides the exposure settings inside of the physical camera so that they have absolutely no effect.

Go to 'Environment and effects'

change 'Exposure control' to anything else than 'physical camera..'

It was so frustrating. I can't believe Autodesk managed to make this even more complicated.
