Hi, I got a DXF model with a specific layers of 3D structure. When I import the DXF in Navisworks Manage, here is how the tree structure looks like:
For some reasons, Navisworks Manage could not export the FBX file with the correct YZ direction orientation.
So, I have to use 3dS to convert the DXF to FBX.
Now when I manually import the DXF file into 3ds, a dialog bog windows shows up with this settings:
I have tried all the settings, but I could not get the exact tree structure shown in the Navisworks Manage.
Here is how the tree structure looks when I choose Layer option:
1) How do I get the same tree structure as DXF when I import the DXF to 3dS? I plan to use script to import multiple DXF files in batch. So can it be done in MaxScript?
