exception and stack trace error

I did not know which category i should put my problem under... anyway here it is (sent on email in the weekend, and we could not figure a solution)

After a software bug before the summer, i had to reinstall windows in
parallels, and also of course 3ds max. After this fresh installation,
an error showed same time program is starting up, "exception and stack
trace" (I've troubleshoot the forum for this, the was one with same
problem as me, which got solved - i tried this before the
summer, lots of removing of data temp, etc. which i read online,
nothing worked. It still shows, and in the program i can't right
click, among other small issues, that makes the program not useable
from me, since it becomes a irritation memento! Is there other ways?
somehow seems it is the license - or that I'm installing "the same"
over when i try, maybe another version og license will help - I'm not
fan of the newest versions, 2015 is my preference. Im trying 3ds max
design to see if there is a difference... hope there is other things
that i can try?

Thank you.

I tried reinstalling it again, including everything else i could fins that solved the problem for others, deleting, reinstalling, turn off fire walls etc.  now i have installed 3dsmax 17 but it is the same thing, Im using it because i could find a solution for the right clicking, but when choosing "rendering" from the top menu, another error showed, and i dont know how to get around this...

here are some screen shots,

I didn´t actually solve it, seems no one can help in this forum….

What I ended up doing was this; since my windows 7 didn´t have the possibility to update/upgrade (if you have a version that can do this, check that everything is up to date) I installed windows 10, again. Then of course reinstalled the program (also install 3ds max design 2015, started to like the 3ds max 2017, so regret not doing that..) and this time it worked. I´m guessing there is some sort of updates that my windows 7 was to old and out graded to handle, but still - the problem started out in windows 10 when I had it for the first time, so can´t say anything for sure.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response. It is the approach that I took but I do
not want to upgrade to Windows 10. It opens without problems now most
of the time...a few exceptions. I notice that if I stay away from my
desktop short cut and go to the start menu and use this to open 3D max
it almost always opens correctly. I did uninstall and reinstall 3D and
updated windows a few more times. Things seem to be fine now. Thanks
again. Have a good holiday. Frank Zmuda
