Collaborative work in 3ds Max

Hello

I would like to work collaboratively with my work partner in the same file of a 3ds Max model. I need to do the lighting of a scene at the same time he is doing all the texture and material work for render purpose in order to save us some time. Do you know how can we achieve this? I need to do something similar to the central model option in Revit, or I don't know if we can merge or link tow different models (one with the lighting and the other with the materials and textures) to one confederate model so I can render from there.

Thank you so much
