Skin Morph modifier doesn't really remove Morphs...

Hey, I'm kind of lost here:

Apparently, when you remove a morph from the Skin-Morph modifier, it only deletes the name of the morph from the modifier window and disables it, but doesn't not delete it altogether. I came across this issue while scripting an alternative UI for the Skin-Morph modifier for our Rigging department.

This is a serious problem for many reasons, and we're using this modifier quite extensively throughout the production...

If I could come up with a way to distinguish between working Morphs and removed "Zombie" Morphs in max-script, that could also help.

Are there any Autodesk staff members visiting here regularly?

Thanks,
David.

Hi,

Actually, I did found the solution. I don't have access to that specific script and it was a while ago. I remember syntax along the lines of "removeDeadMorphs" Or something like that doing the job.
You'd probably have to experiment with that.
It was Ofer Z who discovered it, I don't remember where... Let me know if you can't find it, I'll contact him.

BTW, I'm looking into summer internships in LA (Film student at AFI right now). You don't know of any place, do you?
