Script for generating instanced copies from an excel file

Hello everybody,
so for 3ds Max I have found a script to create boxes from an excel list, it can create boxes by the given coordinates and rotation, but I can't find anywhere how to make a box, turn it into a poly mesh, and then to make many copies by the x,y,z coordinates and rotation in a given excel or .csv file of the mesh that are instances, so that I have then many objects by the given coordinates and rotation, and I can then change one and they all change.
Help would be much appreciated.
