Hi,
I'm new to the SDK... and MAX :)
We need a way to mark polygons of our character mesh according to its body parts (e.g head, body, arms, etc.) So the artists use named selection for this: polygons are selected in editable poly and names assigned to them etc.
My question is how to get this data from an utility plugin? I need to modify an existing plugin (Unreal ActorX) to extract this information. Any help is greatly appreciated.
