Putting a Textmap in the diffuse color slot and?

Hi,

 

I am trying to write a script that puts a textstring (thas is read from a file, object name and string in text file) on all sides of a cube.

 

My plan is.

For every object A

    Apply fitted box uvw map

    Create a textplus object with the name that is read from the file, and the same text value

    Create a new material for object A and assign it a textmap with the created textplus object.

 

The final result on one of the boxes in the image below

I have attached the script I have, (it is the last step I can't figure out), scene file and text file to read from.
