PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey there!

I am a student that use 3ds max as rendering software but I do have huge trubbles.

I just installed 3ds max 2017 on my dell precision 5520 with windows 7 pro but when the installation is finished and when i try to open the program it stars but then after 30 it come out a windows that is saing application error "an error has occured and the application will now close. do you wnat to attempt to save a copy of the current scene?

Please help me!

Start with the basics.

Is your machine 32 or 64 bit?

What version of max do you have, 32 or 64 bit?

Is the OS version compatible?

If both 64 bit and compatible OS, have you tried to reinstall Max?

Where did you get the Max version from (borrowed licence, professional or student version)?

Graphics drivers compatible?

Installed in a different location than standard?

Previous versions still installed?

Registry conflict?

If all the above are good, then I would suggest a reinstall from the Autodesk source you got it from and try again.
