Hi,
I am having an annoying problem and I hope someone can help me with this.
I have a few scripts with some custom UI for rigging, and I keep (and want to keep it this way) all macro scripts on a network path, to be able to be accessed from multiple PCs.
Now, whenever I evaluate a script that is located on a network path, it works, but the next time I open Max, the script appears as it is located in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2011 - 64bit\enu\UI\usermacros\.mcr
And whenever I open 3ds Max, I have to reevaluate the scripts from the network. I need this because in case I make adjustments to the script, I want it to be saved directly on the network path. If it is saved only on local computer, and I forget to copy it to network, in case the local PC gets re-formated, I may loose changes to the scripts.
Has anyone managed to use scripts that are located on a network without having to reevaluate every time?
Regards,
