max 2014 changes language in command panel after evaluating a scripted plugin

Hi !

i wonder if anyone ever experienced something similar....

max 2014 changes language to german in command panel after

evaluating a (random) scripted plugin

(in this case an example grabbed from the maxscript help)

additionally, the buttons for standard primitives dissappear (as shown)

plugin works, but why does it mess up the UI ?

all scripts i tried working fine in max 2012 without UI-voodoo

windows 7 ultimate, max 2012 SP2 PU12 + 2014 SP3, both with vray 3.0

windows runs in german, but max is definitely installed in english... no language packs or something

it's a fresh system, setted up 2 weeks ago... everything licensed...

any ideas ???

thx in advance
