Dear Community,
i got stuck in getting into Plugion Creation for Max.
I got Visual Studio 2008 and a 2010 Express Verion.
None of them i can get to work
What i did:
I followed along the learning path and find, theres no 2008 recommended on their site anywhere in the internet => nice!
so i try to use 2010 Express which does half way work starting the wizard etc...BUT does not work for 64 bit i think (if so, please hand me a info where to begin here)
Issues:
Paths in System are default paths ALL
so:
When i do a project in 2010 it will start the wizard, i can set the paths and after i hit ok all comes in...here i cant get further
When i do a project in 2008 it quits using the app wizard with the errorcode
template is not found, make sure the path is right...
I copied all files over for the 2008 templates to run like i was told in the learning path
Please can someone shed some light on me?
I wann get the simple learning path going, i need all infos i could get to doing it for max 2012 64 bits with a correct default setup.
If its recommended to use 2008 for this purposes, i need to solve the issue above with the missing template or anything else that gets me over to a recognized project barebone from whom i can start researching..
if 2010 express is still ok for 2012 64 bit systems, then i need assistance to get it setup so my max 2012 will recognize the Plugin like in the learning path.
Its hard to learn on a learning path where almost all informations lead into unsolved, unknown, not downloadable, not present relations to things and infos..
anyway...
Is there someone out there who can get me any further?
A Max recognition of something i put on would be a Milestone here!
