I'll make this quick and easy.

I've just upgraded from 3DS Max 2015 to 2019. I was a lot comfortable with 2015 to be honest. I had to switch anyway because the 3DS max I had was on my old computer that suffered from a crash, and so I'm forced to upgrade to 2019.

I figured this would be good because the rendering would be improved.

So the problem I'm having is this:

As you can see I'm trying to import a .obj file and everytime I have to keep moving my windows toolbar to the side

and that can be a pain on my work flow. Trying to move it back is almost impossible because I'll end up clicking on the programs I have listed there. I'm used to having my toolbar on the bottom.

I would suggest to buy a monitor with a higher screen resolution.. 3dsmax on a small display makes no fun at all..

But as you have access to 2019 you can still try 2016, to see if it's better there..

I have a windows 10 laptop and the highest resolution is 1920 x 1080. As a matter of fact, I switched to 2016 when I made this post. I still have the same issue. God knows changing the resolution of my monitor would not work and would seem worse for everything else.

That's bad.

Aparenty the AD developer who was writing this importer was using a monitor with a higher Y resolution.. Officially they do not even recommend a min. resolution of the screen!

I actually found a bit of a solution. I'm on 2016 now and I ran the program in compatibility mode (I forgot all about this feature) But, it only solved some of the other things I didn't like such as, very tiny text and icons in the UI.

It almost fixed the main issue I'm still having. I can hardly click the "Import" button....I just use perfect precision to click it without having to move the toolbar...Still it's a pain and nothing major but minor is solved right now.
