Bump Not showing on View Port.

Hello, May I know why the Texture I added is not in View Port?

I tried searching for the solution. But this is my last resort. Thank you.

Which renderer and which material are you using above the BitmapTexture?

For Arnold, it seems you could use the Arnold "Standard Surface" material and then put a Bump2D texture on the "normal" slot, with BitmapTexture under the Bump2D; details here.  Or you could use the Arnold "Physical" material and achieve bump as a displacement map instead, because, well, a 2D bump effect is not physically real; details here.

I'm not an Arnold expert though, so somebody else may clarify.

Cheers,

Michaelson Britt

Correction ... it seems you can indeed place BitmapTexture directly on the Bump Map slot of a Physical Material (despite this being "not physically real") with Arnold.  Just be sure to turn up the Bump Map spinner (I changed it from 1.0 -> 10.0) and be sure to have appropriate lighting in the scene (I used a Photometric Free Light).

To enable viewport display, be sure to select "High Quality" and then select Materials->Realistic Materials with Maps from the viewport dropdown menu (third one), as shown.

Cheers,

Michaelson Britt

Thank you for your kind help! Appreciate it man. But actually I've already sorted out what was the issue, I have to turn off " Real-Life scale" in order to see the Material & Texture. 🙂
