Hi Team,
We are seeing a deadlock like scenario occurring on our render node with 3ds max setup.
We have render jobs which we submit to our render node. The files are hosted on s3 storage. The s3 storage is mounted on the render node (windows 10 machine) via rclone and winfsp. The vfscache is enabled on the rclone setup as well.
We see an error where an intermediate sv$ file gets created but prima facie write to the same file gets interrupted and then the 3ds max application gets stuck.
Any new render jobs/ max scripting jobs submitted to the render node gets stuck and 3ds max immediately exits with an exit code -1.
I could see there is some issue already reported with 3ds max and winfsp interactions as reported here - https://github.com/winfsp/winfsp/issues/189
Are there any known workarounds for this issue ? if not are there any recommended set of tools which should be preferred for rendering s3 hosted files ?
