3ds max 2018 file larger save

Hi, I have been working on a PC with 3dsmax version 2018, when I open the same file on a different PC (still 2018) and save as (without changing the model at all) the file size saves as 3 / 4 times bigger than the original file. Can someone suggest why this is occurring and how to solve please?
