Weird shadow on polygon

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hey,

I am new with 3ds max and have a question about exporting to FBX..

I received a 3ds file from the architect of which there seem to be strange shadows on the polygons.

When I set the view mode to 'flat color' these shadows are no longer there.
But when I export it to FBX, these strange shadows are also there.

I've tried many export settings which non of these seems to work..

Does anyone have a solution?
Any help is greatly appreciated ..

Many thanks
