Hello All,

 

I am currently working on a model that has been created in SketchUp. I have made sure that each surface/object is on its own layer. I have come imported it into 3DS Max and i have turned the objects that i need to into editable poly lines.

 

The problem i am encountering is when i place a material on the surface and then add a UVW map onto it, the 'Bitmap Fit' under the Alignment tab is blacked out and it won’t let me click on it, to adjust the size of the texture (to make it fit proportionately). 

 

I was just wondering why this is happening and if anyone knows of a solution to this..

Hi, untick "real-world Map Size" on your uvw map. Or, go to preference settings, General and untick " Use real-World Texture Coordinates" to completly disable this feature.
