UV Remapping shows black seams? how to avoid this?

Hi! How do you get rid of the seams here? I’m trying to re-map the UVs to take up more texture space, but the re-mapped one has black seams! I have tried to add padding in the render to texture panel, but that does not seem to do much

The UVs look pretty messed up and it is possible (cannot tell from your screenshot) that some are outside the U1V1 tile space.   Try selecting the UV Islands with the black outlines and hit UV Editor Menu> Tools>Relax or Quick Peel to make sure they are properly flattened. Flatten mapping is another way to make sure they are flattened, but if these were already unwrapped, maybe all you need is relax.   Anyway, once you are sure that the islands are all flattened properly with no overlap,  then hit  Pack:Custom in the Arrange Elements Section of the Right Toolbar to make sure all UV islands are placed in the U1V1 tile space.
