Hi!
I am using 3ds Max 2020.3 and have always run into the issue of resetting an object's move/rotation/scale value to world (0,0,0) and 100,100,100.
In this example I'm building a chair that has many subparts. My goal is to set the move/rotation to 0,0,0 and scale to 100,100,100 for each subparts so that the pivot point of each part is at world 0,0,0. (In Maya's term, I want to "freeze transform" so that each of my object has clean transform values to begin with).
I have used xForm modifier and "adjust transform" in the Hierarchy tab, none would reset the move/rotation/scale value in a way that Maya would. Right now, I have a custom script that resets object's value to 0,0,0, but I noticed for some items the values cannot be changed. These values are so small that I can only see them when I increase the decimal place to 6 or 7. Manually typing in 0 or right click on the spinners does not reset it either.
My main question: is there a more efficient way of resetting these move/rotation/scale value in the same manner as Maya's Freeze transform?
