Hey guy!

Need a little help here... I'm new in 3DS Max, so maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

I model a simple cushion, very simple, and then I try to unwrap to apply some textures.

I saw this video: https://youtu.be/9JpLf0mi78k  and I think this is a very simple way to do, so, I try in my model, bu...

I don't see anything wrong and not even sure what the problem is. I guess you want mirrored elements sewed together.
Go with what you have at 1:38.  Switch to faces subobject and deselect everything. Go to unwrap's menu.

select / select inverted polygons

if anything is selected - mirror/flip it

Use stitch on adjacent edges. Weld and target weld stubborn verts if any.

Hey @dmitriy.shpilevoy thanks for the tip, but I found a easy way to fix that:

See, there is a another modifier "UVW Unwrap Clear" that complete wipe out all seams that 3ds create, and after that with UVW Unwrap 3ds will accept my lines as a seams.

I didn't note this modifier yesterday, for now on I will use this modifier always.

Thanks again for you tip!
