I am noticing a lot of odd behavior in max 2018. I came from 2013 which seems a great deal more stable. I'll just note 2 things here to stay on topic.
1. I've had to switch from Nitrous Direct3d 11 to Nitrous Direct3d 9. My system kept crashing on 11. That may or may not have been the problem but my screen would freeze. The app did not crash, my cursor still worked but the view-port would not update. I'd move the app to a different monitor but still it would not refresh. I would have to restart. I have since switched to 9 and it seems to be working so far with no errors.
2. I can not see planer objects edge on. I've a flat plane in my scene, I can see it in all views but the edge on side view (please see attached) I've seen this before over the years... any insight as to what is causing this?
3. Ok 3, on some objects, when editing at the vertex level, the vertices disappear. I can not see or select them... all I can see are the edges and am limited to editing from the edge sub-object level.
