Are you trying to model the tracks in 3ds Max or Revit? If 3ds Max can you post a picture of the tracks? I would start by creating a spline that define the path of the track and another spline of the track's cross section. You can then use Create, Geometry, Compound Objects to extrude the shape along the spline.
