Issue with UV unwrapping

Hey there,

I've created a sword model on 3ds max, which I'm relatively new to. All I have to do now is get the UV unwrapping done, which I asked help with before. The unwrapping would be almost done if not for one tiny issue which is driving me crazy:

Everything works as you can see in this screenshot

Except for the tip which for some weird reason is not attached and I can't even get it attached with stitching

How could I fix it? And since I'm at it,  how would I get this texture to be of a bigger resolution? Thank you in advance.

Select the faces of the tip and apply a quick planar map

This should get rid of the seams of the tip. From there you can keep editing depending what you want to achieve. For example add seams following to the seams below and quick peel the tip selection.

Hey!

I found out the issue: Basically for some reason I had multiple edges on the tip in the same place, which I then deleted and successively everything worked perfectly fine. Nonetheless, I only figured this out thanks to your tip, so thank you very much! 🙂

This is the result and I think it should be good:

Thank you once again!
