Everytime I wanna delete this edge because I dont need it there because it creates unncesary space. It deletes the polygon. How do I get rid of this. I pressed back space on my keyborard but I dont know the keyboard commands for 3ds max 2015. Just the commands from the older versions. I tried editing the key board shortcuts but I dont know how to do it and it disn't assign.

if your object is an editable poly, just press backspace instead of delete... when you clean up edges though, it will leave errant vertices so you need to remove those the same way (backspace)

Ctrl+Backspace - that removes the "errant" Vertices at the same time as removing the Edge(s).

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).
