I need to convert some 3ds max 2016 files to gmax

I am trying to make models for a virtual world that uses gmax for designing. Can I convert my 3ds max 2016 files to gmax?

not possible the backwards compatibility doesn't go that far back. i think back go as far back as 2012

You could export the 3ds Max file as a 3DS file and then import the 3DS file into gmax.
