fbx export scaling problem

I have set the unit to cm, and the measure of the model is OK, but the exported fbx is huge. You can see it in fbx review in the last picture, at the center of the picture is the default grid field of fbx review.

I have ResetXForm after changing the unit.

Hi,

When you imported the FBX file, did you make sure that the File Unit is converted to cm?

Yes, I know you were exporting the model, but I didn't know to which program you're importing it,

So i thought maybe you tried to import it again to Max and it came in Huge.

Thank you, mile. Importing it to Max and Unity is fine, but it's huge when imported into UE4 or opened with FBX Review.

Sorry for the late reply I got busy,

Now for the UE4, I cannot answer that since I don't use it,

For the FBX viewer, I did a quick test, you'll see in the screenshot below two views

Taken from two opened FBX viewers. The left image is a box with dimensions: 5m x 5m x 5m

And the system units is set to Meters. Then, I changed the system units to Centimeters, applied

An Xform then collapsed the Box and exported the model again(the image on the right)

The Box now is: 5cm x 5cm x 5cm. As you can see the second Box is 100 times smaller than the one

On the left. The major grid lines size in the FBX viewer is 1m, and the small ones are 20cm each. So,

Personally, everything worked normally.

Thank you for your experiment, mile! I tried using the ResetXForm in the Transform Toolbox this time, instead of the one in the Utilities panel like before, this time the scale seems to be OK after exporting! But the bone hierarchy seems to be missing in the exported fbx, do I have to rebind the bone after ResetXForm or do I make any mistakes?
