Extrude along spline ver 2022 and above

Hi, is anyone experiencing the same thing in versions 2022 and above. I am trying to extrude a face along a curve, however the extruded geometry does not follow the curve correctly. I have found a workaround but I think it is not working as expected. Do the devs monitor these threads? Would like to put in a bug report if it is one. In version 2020 it works correctly without having to convert or move any bezier points.

Hi Casio101! Thank you for reporting the issue with the extrusion. I can't reproduce the same problem in 2022.3_Update. I can see that you also are using the Extrude Along Spline Align option. Make sure to align the first vertex to the extruded face. In my short gif clip, I am showing my results. Maybe I am missing some details. Are you on Windows10 or 11?

Hi, thank you for your reply, I recently upgraded to windows 11.Was not sure if it was working that way in windows 10 as I did not use that function at the time.
I had a look at the attached gif and I had the vertex aligned but the thing that confused me was when you had the "aligned to face" checked, the extrusion deviated from the line/curve which is weird as the face and the first vertex is aligned,it shouldn't do that.

I have done another test in both the 2020 and 2022 versions. (The original file was created in 2020)
