Edge select in UnwrapUVW selecting all edges on a UV island and Reset Peel does not reset the seams (3ds Max 2025)

Recently reset my pc so had to reinstall 3ds max. I was previously using 2024 edition and now it's installed 2025 but I'm getting some weird behaviour from the UVWunwrap modifier. Previously if I used reset peel, it would reset all seams on a mesh (limited to the parts selected) but now it just does the same thing as Quick Peel for some reason. Additionally the edge selection mode will occasionally not allow me to select a single edge in the Edit UVW menu, instead selecting the entire UV island. Any help would be appreciated.

The only plug-in I am using is TexTools but it being enabled does not modify this behaviour.

Since you seem to be very familiar with how it functions and having just migrated to 2025, I’m guessing there may be some bugginess going on there. Have you reported as a bug? There’s a link in the header of the main General forum that Hagen has made a sticky of to tell you how.

Hi, thanks for responding. As I am on a student account I am limited in the support I can get from autodesk to only the forums. I would love to submit a bug report but I don't seem to have any avenue to do so.

I'm pretty sure you can submit a Bug Report. If it's a bug, there is not really any support to be had. But reporting it gets it added to their list and if they see a lot of people reporting the same thing, it might get fixed in the next patch. I think anyone can submit a report.
